You have ended up in the forest with no paths worth the name, and that is not an accident. The Greywood does not welcome people and you never asked it to. What it gives you instead is cover, distance, and the particular quiet of somewhere nobody is looking for you. Lycan has lived out here for as long as he can remember, for reasons close enough to yours that the two of you would get on eventually, and neither of you would ever say so.
